my friend, lily, is going to KL to meet our friend daisy. daisy loves scrapbooking and is good at it. my work can never measure up to hers. i decided to make a bookmark for her as a small gift. i hope she doesn't mind my sloppy work.

i made this bookmark for a friend as her 21st birthday gift.
recently i found myself too involved in charms when making bookmarks. i simply love this beautiful combination, and i intend to make more of them as give-aways this april. but everyone has different preference and what is pretty to me may not be to others. still, i hope my friends appreciate their gifts.

i simply love using tim holt's trinket pins

i've been busy working on the 40 orders that i have recently received with the final delivery date in mid august. currently i have done few sets of tags and dividers, and target to start binding each set to the writing pages by early july.

these are some tags and dividers (B=Boy Set and G=Girl Set) -

below - G1

above: this is my personal favourite tag. i simply used black cardstock, drew the lines with my white ink, applied glossy accents and pasted the cut-out hearts from my patterned cardstock. i pasted the hearts with double-sided foam tape in order to raise them.

above: i enjoyed making these 3 green tags. the green-red ribbons help to enhance these simple tags with great colour combinations.

a special bookmark for a special friend...nani
the whole layout was created by accident -
1. i decided to use my new ribbon, but i cut it too short and couldn't tie a bow.
2. tim holtz's trinket saved my life, and that was how the new bow came around.
3. i realized that i couldn't tie another ribbon through the punched eyelet.
4. the flower charm from gift-a-name proved to be a better choice.
i hope nani likes her gift.
