a special bookmark for a special friend...nani

the whole layout was created by accident -

1. i decided to use my new ribbon, but i cut it too short and couldn't tie a bow.

2. tim holtz's trinket saved my life, and that was how the new bow came around.

3. i realized that i couldn't tie another ribbon through the punched eyelet.

4. the flower charm from gift-a-name proved to be a better choice.

i hope nani likes her gift.

working on my tags ...

my new toy :D

i had some left-overs of tracing paper from my retro-album-projects. while working on my tags this evening, i decided to do something new. i did a clear stamping on both sides of the tracing paper. it gives a fascinating effect.

i'm not good with words, thus i decided to do a short video on it to explain the process and its end product. see the effect!

above: i love the rub-on sticker with rhinestone. it brings a bling into this piece.

above: the pearl brad brings out the pretty chipboard flower

above: i'm glad that i incorporated the red silk ribbon with the black lace ribbon as the tag-slot for this page. the combination is perfect.

above: i used textured tracing paper this time. it gives a better effect.
