my notebook already in japan by the time i posted these up

today is a beautiful day because the postlady turned up at my door with these...

i have been executing few projects in a month since october. and i have currently 3 projects in hand of which i have to complete before end december. however, i have to drop whatever i was working on to start on a new rush job with a short deadline, ie. monday 7 dec. my niece is flying to japan on tuesday and she has to bring it for a japanese family there.

scraping a notebook for a japanese family is another great challenge for me. i have been thinking for a theme and layout since i received the call. japanese love printed florals and they love cute stuff. i have never done any cute book before. and i really have to put in all my thoughts about japanese preference and all the cute characters which have become their icons. i do not want this book to end up like a present from a japanese to another japanese. i must ensure that japanese identity won't be present in this book.

so, this is what i have done to date ...
